Ahmad R. Razaghi collaborates with Native Nations on PL 93-638 Indian Self-Determination contracting, helping create tribal corporations that meet the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and Indian Health Service mandates to establish strong healthcare systems. He advises tribal boards to help secure needed funding to improve health care outcomes, addressing the fundamental health disparities American Indians face.
Mr. Razaghi’s accomplishments include developing a strategic plan that saved Navajo Health Foundation - Sage Memorial Hospital (Foundation) from insolvency, restored its hospital accreditation and licensure, and secured a long term Indian Self-Determination Contract with the Indian Health Services. Additionally, the Foundation received a one-time $200 Million settlement from Indian Health Services.
Ahmad R. Razaghi holds an MBA from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He has received the Chief Executive Officer Managerial Excellence award from the Director of Indian Health Services and the U.S. Surgeon General for his ongoing efforts to improve healthcare for American Indians.
